Documentation for RAIDER.EXE Version 3.00
Raider is written by Chris Forgeron of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, eh.
''Do you want to play a regular Hack-n-Slash game....
....or do you want to play Raider?''
Raider Fast Setup Documentation.
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
This documentation is only designed to help you get Raider up and running in
the least ammount of time. It IS NOT designed as a substitute for the Raider
documents. You must read the RAIDER.DOC file if you want to run Raider
properly.
Okay, to get Raider up to minimum working condition, UnZip everything into one
directory called Raider (Or copy it there. -whatever). This makes sure that
everything is where it should be.
Now, with the help of a Text Editor/Word Processor/Screen Editor edit
RAIDER.CFG (It's just a regular text file.. Load it in).
RAIDER.CFG is pretty sefl-explanitory. Just change the values it gives to
whatever you wish.
Now that RAIDER.CFG is all set up, and all the files are in the RAIDER Dir,
you should be ready. Just type RAIDER RAIDER.CFG to activate Raider. The disk
will spin, oceans will boil, and worlds will collide.
If you did everything right, you will be greated by a prompt
"Do you wish to view the title screen (Y/n) ?"
If you messed up somewheres, take another look at what you did. If it still
does not work, then it is best if you read RAIDER.DOC carefully, for the full
explanation on how to set up Raider.
If you have a High Speed Modem locked into a certian baud, you will have to
read section 14 of the Raider documents.
If you enjoy your copy Of Raider, please do not hesitate to register it. Over
a year and a half of work has gone into thw writing, debugging, and designing
of this game, and much more time will be spend upgrading it over the years.
